Our Spaces: One Year Old Son's Room

Since I'm already dreaming up ideas for our one-year old son's new bedroom, I figured it'd be a good time to share his space with you.
Adorable Dwell Studio for Target Elephants Collection bedding.
The Graco Lauren Convertible Crib was also purchased at Target.

I turned an old picture into nursery art by covering it with a receiving blanket, applying Mod Podge to seal it then adding spray painted cardboard letters.

Here's a view of his room for the door-excuse the glare...it sure was sunny out!

I'm loving the newest addition to Kolt's room-Ole' Smokey, our refinished Goodwill Rocking horse.

These beautiful blue Eclipse blackout curtains were picked up at Big Lots for $10 each!
They're gorgeous-and feel like suede.

Our Rocking Chair & Ottoman was a Craigslist find that  I recovered by making a slipcover using the white curtains from Kolt's original nursery! The changing table and Dipes basket were both Goodwill finds that were painted white to match the rest of his furniture. Bottom baskets were from Dollar Tree!

Another view of the chair-I sewed the little pillow using leftover fabric from the receiving blanket that I used to create his name artwork.  Gotta love sock monkeys!!

His walk-in closet is perfect for storing all of his clothes & dresser!

A small corner in his closet has a play area & keeps his toys tidily displayed in one place.

Mr. Cutie pie helps himself to some Dipes!

His room truly is sweet & simple, but will be getting a toddler makeover soon!

I'd love to hear your thoughts!! Thanks for popping by!

Growing like an out of control weed patch. Where does the time go? Really nice to be able to go back and see the progression of the room designs and the boys growth.
